Special Offering for July 16

This week's special offering is helping St. Philip’s Lutheran Church Good Food Market as the church partners with Toronto Community Housing at 44 Willow Ridge to offer a weekly fresh produce market. The apartment has 250 units and the tenants are very excited to have the opportunity to purchase fresh produce at very affordable prices. St. Philip's Lutheran Church buys the produce from Foodshare at wholesale prices. With additional donations and grant money, the church is able to subsidize the prices further. The weekly market also includes a draw for free grocery gift cards, children’s activities and recipes with loot bags containing some of the ingredients listed on the recipe cards. St. Philip's Lutheran Church is deeply appreciative of the volunteer support provided by individuals from Fellowship Christian Reformed Church and the donation Fellowship Chrisatian Reformed Church is planning to make.
