Special Offering for February 20

Our special offering for February 20 will be for the World Renew BC Flood Disaster Relief. In November 2021, flooding disasters displaced thousands of British Columbians from their homes, leaving people underprepared, under-resourced, and in shock. The atmospheric river caused almost a foot of rainfall, which washed out roads, destroyed bridges, and clogged homes with mud. World Renew Disaster Response Services is monitoring this devastating situation with local churches and organizations on how to best respond in the near future with cleanup work and potential reconstruction. In the early stages of disaster relief, DRS is in conversations with an Abbotsford alliance of churches who are leading a response on the ground.
