Morale Boosting Lunch for SCI Teachers & Staff, September 2

     This past year and a half has been difficult for all, but particularly for the teachers in our community.   They have had to worry about their students’ safety, personal safety and learn a new way to teach.  

     In order to kick off the new year, one of our joint projects is to supply lunch to all staff at Silverthorn C.I.   Our two churches are providing sandwiches and cookies on September 2. Signs reading "Happy New Year", "Your Community supports you and appreciates your dedication to our youth," and "Lunch Provided by Fellowship Christian Reformed Church and Bloordale United Church" provided the essential message. 

     It is our sincere hope that this recognition in the community will help to energize and encourage teachers facing another uncertain year.
